THE FAMILY RESOURCE ROOM

You should not have to figure all of this out alone.

Diagnosis, IEP meetings, ETRs, therapy, waivers, scholarships, Medicaid, county-board services and finding the right people can feel like a second full-time job. This is a place to start.

FROM ONE PARENT TO ANOTHER

You don't need to know the right words before you reach out.

If you have an IEP, an ETR, a new diagnosis, a stack of paperwork, or simply a feeling that your child needs something different, bring what you have. We can help you understand what the next conversation needs to be.

“You are not walking into this alone. We will help you take the next step.”

WE CAN HELP YOU NAVIGATE

IEPs, ETRs & the “what do I do next?” questions.

IEP

Your child's IEP tells the story of educational needs, goals, accommodations and services. We can help you understand the pieces that matter for your child's participation and support.

ETR

An ETR helps establish the evaluation picture behind special education eligibility and services. Bring your questions. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out.

Next steps

Sometimes the next step is enrollment. Sometimes it is another provider, an evaluation, a county-board referral or simply more information. We will be honest about fit.

OUR COMMUNITY FAMILY

There is also a place for the parent behind the paperwork.

Our sister nonprofit, Stark Sensory Center for Neurodiversity, is being developed to create community, parent support and practical connection beyond the intervention center.
